THE VISA REGIME
The Republic of Macedonia requires no visas for the citizens of a number of countries, they might enter only if in possession of a valid document for travelling abroad, or any substituting document instead:
The citizens of Austria, Argentina Barbados, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vatican, United Kingdom and North Ireland, Greece, Denmark, Germany, Israel, Japan, Island, Lichtenstein, Luxemburg, New Zealand, Norway, USA, Slovenia, Croatia, Finland, Malaysia, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, and Spain could stay in Macedonia without visa for a period of 3 months.
The citizens of Serbia, Turkey and Monte Negro could stay in Macedonia without visa for a period of 60 days.
The cizites of Bulgaria, Botswana, Estonia, Ireland, Italy, Cuba, Cyprus, Latvia, Malta, Monaco, Peru, San Marino, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Chez Republic could stay in Macedonia without visa for a period of 90 days
The citizens of Canada, Poland, Portugal and Romania could stay in Macedonia without visa
CUSTOMS REGULATION
“Traveller” – this is every physical person, who crosses the boundaries of Macedonia. Every tourist visiting the Republic of Macedonia may import goods which does not have trade character (exception from VAT and Excise taxes). The admissible number and quantity of the imported goods for personal use is:

Tobacco products (for tourists older than 18 years): cigarettes – up to 200 pieces, or 100 cigarillos, or 50 cigars, or 250 grams of smoking tobacco, or proportional quantity of various above listed tobacco products

Perfume 50 ml, or toilet water 250 ml. , alcoholic drinks – 1 litter.

Other drinks: coffee – 500 grams, coffee extract – 200 grams, tea – 100 grams, tea extract – 40 grams

Perfumes – 50 ml, toilet water – 250 ml.
Goods of personal use, necessary for the tourists for everyday use during their stay are also duty-free.
GOODS TO BE DECLARED
Macedonian or foreign citizens must declare:

goods for sale or commercial purposes;

goods not for sale or commercial purposes, but their total value exceeds 50 Euros;

prohibited or restricted goods for which special licences or certificates are required (drugs, weapons, animals, plant seeds, goods from plant or animal origin, etc.).

A Customs officer may ask you to show documents proving your statements/declaration (bills, licences, certificates, etc.).
CASH ALLOWANCE

When entering into the country the non-residents:

Could freely bring into the country the amount that does not exceed the equivalent of 2.000 euros in foreign currency and checks and up to 20.000 denars per person.
