NATIONAL HERITAGE 

The church St. Spas has been built in mid XVI century, still her present shape dates from the XIX century.

The exterior of the church is modest. The church is three-naval in shape. The central nave is vaulted, while the side ones are flat and covered with boards. The church also has a wooden gallery constructed for female believers.

The Iconostases of the church have been finished in 1824. The creation of the Iconostasis started in 1819 and was finished 6 years later, actually in 1824. The iconostasis is 10m wide and 6m high. The upper part ends with a large Serpent Cross, with icons of the Holy Mother and St. John. This part of the iconostasis is gilded.

The carved part of the iconostasis contains topics of the old and the new testaments. It also contains geometrical ornaments, flora and fauna figures, folk elements and etc. On the iconostas there are a number of icons set in two rows. On the bottom are placed large dais icons while on the upper smaller, holiday icons.

The box in which the bones of the great revolutionary and ideologist of the Macedonian Revolution, Goce Delcev is kept in the church's narthex. The box is placed in marble sarcophagus placed in the church yard.
